There has been some confusion on the net about a recent blog post I did. Here’s the link to that post:
I should have been more clear and said that if you are using IIS 6.0, then having Vista SP2 is probably a good idea. This is because in doing research I came across a post where if you don’t have a web.config file when you create an installation for IIS 6.0, then you can have run-time errors with a web application. I found that to be true in some work I was doing. I will go and find the exact post I read and then provide the link here for clarification.
I should have also said that I am far from an IIS expert. I always welcome corrections from people who read the blog. So, if you think I made a mistake in a blog post, post a comment so we all can benefit. You can also send me an email and I will add the corrected information to the post in question.
